President Donald Trump has issued sweeping new orders granting “total authorization” to federal immigration officers following a violent attack on ICE agents during a California cannabis raid.
In a fiery statement on Truth Social, Trump described how agents were ambushed by “THUGS” hurling rocks and bricks while officers were moving in their vehicle.
“I am giving Total Authorization for ICE to protect itself, just like they protect the Public,” Trump declared.
He added that law enforcement has the green light to stop their vehicles and arrest attackers by any means necessary, marking a drastic shift in enforcement strategy.
Chaos in California
The clashes erupted during a July 10 raid at an illegal marijuana grow site, where over 360 illegal aliens were detained, and 14 migrant children were rescued. Protesters numbering around 500 tried to block the operation.
One ICE Public Affairs agent was injured after being struck by a rock. DHS claims Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA) incited the crowd by exposing the agent’s identity — an act now under heavy scrutiny.
