Patel asserted that this trend is coming to a close, as the FBI aims to rebuild public confidence in light of criticism regarding its management of prominent Democratic individuals, the events of January 6, and inquiries involving President Trump.
Patel condemned the previous FBI leadership for allegedly ‘weaponizing’ the agency, especially in relation to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
He stressed that forthcoming revelations would demonstrate how agents endeavored to uphold baseless allegations of collusion between Trump and Russia. Patel promised that a surge of transparency would soon be forthcoming, guaranteeing complete accountability for prior conduct.
